    WELCOME

GIRLS RURAL is a volunteer organization created to empower girls, ages 13-18, growing up in small rural communities culturally, socially, economically and politically through exciting research driven programming, sound mentoring, community outreach and activism.

It is our aim to raise awareness and consciousness of the issues affecting girls living in these areas and bring this awareness to the larger community through leadership and community advocacy.

Within her is the power to create, nurture and  transform.

    PROGRAMS
    GET INVOLVED

Our programs directly reflect the ideas and aspirations from girls, parents, teachers and counselors to specifically deliver the instruction and guidance that girls might not receive in school or at home. Taught by passionate facilitators, our gender -specific programs serve the entire girl community as a valuable resource for all girls related issues.
